Naomi Jean is Here!!!

This is Aunty Tina posting here for the new family. Early this morning Elisha delivered sweet Naomi Jean at 12:16am. It was a way fast delivery and NO drugs were involved. I swear Elisha is an Amazon Warrior Queen. Hardly any pushing and both Mom and baby are doing great!

She is so strong that as she was lying here she kept kicking and turning her head. I was so impressed with the strength this sweet baby has.

They had her in the little warmer for a long time (maybe an hour) to get her to keep her oxygen up, so no one could hold her. Matt would just rub her back and she so loved it!

Vitals: 6lbs. 14ozs. and just under 19 inches long.

She is the sweetest, calm little one. Matt and Elisha are doing great and just wanted you all to get a glimpse of Naomi.

GOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL!!!!!

For those of you who don't know me very well, I am a very big soccer fan. I played for about 6 years and am very excited that the 2010 World Cup started today! Matt is also a huge fan, although we are going for different teams. I am going for USA and he is showing his loyalty to Italy. So if you see us arguing or looking like we aren't getting along, don't worry, it will only last a month (or until one of our teams gets knocked out) ; )

Just this past weekend, Matt and his Dad went and picked up the crib and put it together. It looks awesome and fits perfectly with the room!

I am very grateful that over Memorial Day weekend my parents came and helped me with a couple of major things at the house because Matt was out town. One of them being finishing the babies room. It turned out so amazing and I am so in love with it! I think it has become Matt and I's favorite room in the house.
